The manual controls are really the thing it misses - if they'd added aperture mode, it would have been unbeatable. I managed to pick up an Olympus XA in my 30-toy-camera haul the other day. I did find it quite frustrating at times since it has no manual controls and an extremely hyperactive flash. This is a very popular point and shoot camera among film rangefinder folks.
