Sora took his first proper walk tonight on leash. He did great. He’s still getting the hang of getting up and down on the sidewalk but is slowly starting to recognise our vocal cues to “step up” and “stairs” which warn him of changes in elevation. I checked back a number of times to see him walking side by side with Akuri and shook my head – just incredible the amount of trust he has, and the courage he shows. V cool. He’s even starting to give the leash a good pull when he’s after something to sniff. He’s still very skinny – we’re slowly increasing his food to accommodate – there’s definitely no issue with appetite. Tomorrow we take a trip to the vet to get some blood tests, etc – hopefully all will be good on that front.
