The past 24 hours has been a huge adventure for Sora. He’s settling in great.

He climbed our stairs to the bedroom last night for the first time (which took about 15 minutes). Rio even tried to help by running up and down the stairs to show how easy it was : ). After that Sora immediately found a comfy space no the bed – amazing how he loves to climb anything that is high and soft ! This morning started with him taking his first car ride with us. We took a trip out East for about a half hour to lovely pit bull mix whose up for adoption (more on this later!). He had a chance to wander around offleash and meet a bunch of other dogs – both of which all went great. After that, Sora came with us to a friend’s bbq where he got to meet babies for the first time. Again, went great – this is perhaps the most gentle dog we’ve ever met, a true angel. It’s amazing too because as the day wore on Sora became more and more confident. By the evening he was literally pulling me around on the leash to go meet other dogs that walked past. Incredible how you can literally see him growing with every step that he takes.
