Olympus E-P1 Review Diary – Part 3 – More Samples

10 August 2009 One Comment

Took the camera out for a road trip this weekend. Here are a few samples – no specific theme, just general walkaround shots.

More written observations will be coming this week, followed by a flurry of images as I begin some serious more photography next weekend.

Simple portrait of my by… the 14-42 kit lens allows for creative portraits due to its close focusing distance

P8080320

Random snapshot from the car window while on a road trip East of Seattle.  Forgot to reset the camera settings before getting int he car so this is ISO 800

P8080341

Lake Diablo, Washington. I believe those greens are from silt floating in the water

P8080346

Christian Biker

P8080367

A slow shutter speed snapshot

I actually like this image, posted it over at Lost in Focus too

P8080413

First portrait taken with the camera. When at full telephoto (42mm,= 84mm equivalent) the aperture is just wide enough to get a little OOF effect

A great article indeed and a very detailed, realistic and superb analysis of the current and past scenarios.
