Panasonic LX3 Review

Welcome to my LX3 review. I purchased the LX3 a day or so after it was released in Singapore. As of the time of writing, I’ve had it for nearly 10 days and despite some bad weather, have been able to shoot with it enough to be able to complete this review.

This review will be split into four sections:

  1. Part 1 – Introduction
  2. Part 2 – Handling and Controls
  3. Part 3 – Image Quality
  4. Part 4 – Conclusion


Those of you who have visited my site before may recall that I reviewed the Canon G9 and considered it to be one of the best compact cameras on the market at the time. As a result, you’ll no doubt see me refer to the G9 significantly from a comparison point of view to see how this new contender fares.
