I’ve kicked off a new project and this the first image. As is normal with projects I’ve done in the past, I end up with far more images that get thrown away than ones that actually make it into the final set and the jury will be out on this one while it sits with me for a few days. The important thing for me however is having a starting point and I’m looking forward to seeing which direction this goes in from here.
More soon.

Heya Lawrence, no need to bin any of your shots… I am constantly learning from you and it does me great pleasure to know that not all your shots may be perfect. As for the shot posted above… I like it but the lone person looks lost in the space.
Hi Lawrence,
I’ve been a watching your work for a while now and the new directions you take in your art always inspires me. I was thinking how cool this shot might look with some HDR imaging to bring out more of the shadow and highlight detail and maybe enhance the "halo" around your model. I love the results you can achieve from software like Photomatix with multiple raw exposures and these kinds of images. This shot has a surreal almost cathodic feel about it. Well-composed and great symmetry!
Your narratives are where I want to end up in my photography journey….you are truly gifted, talented and a master of his craft…..
Saint punches him, incapacitating Eric, and nails conductor straps to a wooden table across his wrists and ankles. Thomas then picks up a stab and cuts afford Eric’s shirt and twists his educator gage and forward, inspecting the strip of his surface.
the Beijinger Reader Bar & Club Awards party took place last night at Tango. If you didn’t get there for the free-flow drinking, here’s your chance to check out the action. For a lot more photos of dancers, partiers, and award winners check out the photo gallery
