I haven’t posted in a week so to keep things moving, thought I’d upload another undercard shot from The Contender Asia. I took this with the 40D and a 85mm f/1.8 mounted. The combination of these two produces a very tight framing when shooting at ringside, providing great detail but also a potentially low keeper rate when trying to compose both fighters in the image. So I was especially pleased to get this shot – in fact when I look at it as a large print, it’s one of my favourite undercard pictures. Neither of the fighters pictured are contestants in the show.
