My ten favourite images from Pbase in 2006

In 2006, I felt fortunate to discover, view and learn from some amazing images on a whole various number of different image critique / sharing sites. The place I spent most of my time however was Pbase so in tribute to some of the amazing work on there, I thought I’d post my ten favourite images from last year. The only condition were that these had to be taken this year. Some made it to the list for reasons of pure aesthetics or technical
brilliance. Others are there for the interpretive meaning their photo
contain. Others because they were significant in influencing or
teaching me. I’m sure there are many many other great photographers and
photographs out there, many of whom I could also continue to name
myself, but in forcing myself to distill it down to a two handfuls, I ended up with the following list.
